    kill two birds wtih one stone

    Is it frequently used? Are there other sayings ?

    At least my favorite dictionary lists this idiom.
    So I believe it's used...

    By the way, in German we would say, "To kill two flies with one swat."
    (Its meaning is the same as the original English idiom.)
