    Arrow supposing

Can 'supposing' be used in both the real & unreal conditions?

unreal: Supposing I were you, I wouldn't go to the party.

real: Supposing we miss the train, what will we do then?

    thanks no end

    Re: supposing

Supposing means 'if'. So you are just back to ordinary conditional sentences. Both describe things that haven't happened. Both are 'unreal'.
