    Are these sentences correct? Can inconvenient be used like this?

    1)It was an inconvenient situation to talk.
    2) I was in an inconvenient situation to talk to you at the time.

    Neither really works for me- I'd use something like 'It wasn't convenient/a good time to talk to you'
