a Triton among (of) the minnows

    Dear teachers,

Would you tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following Shakespeare’s verses?

    It is a mind
That shall remain a poison where it is,
    Not poison any further.

    Shall remain!
Hear you this Triton of the minnows? Mark you His absolute “shall”? (Shakespeare’s “Coridanus”)

a Triton among (of) the minnows = a giant among the dwarfs

    Thank you for your efforts.
