    Please let me know what is the opposite of the word widely in this context.

    He travels widely.

    There isn't one.

    Travel widely is a fixed expression. You would have to use a sentence to say that somebody only travels short distances or to a limited number of countries.

    "On a limited scale" or "rarely" can be the opposites of "widely"
