    beyond the veil

    Dear teachers,

Would you tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?

The mystic may be right or he may be wrong in believing that he has a glimpse of the world beyond the veil; my point is that the psychologistís almost bound to assume that he is wrong.

beyond the veil = on the other bank

    Thank you for your efforts.
