    sentence

    "He would go to sleep after early dinner and then he generally woke up after mid night" .

    can we rephrase the sentence like that;

    "He used to sleep after early dinner and woke up after mid night"

    He used to sleep... and wake up.

    Note that you needed an article before "early dinner" and that "midnight" is one word.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
