    Are these phrases old fashioned?

    Are these phrases and expressions old-fashioned? Are they useful to study? thanks in advance.

    As you might expect from a list of 15,000 phrases, some are old-fashioned, some are not, some are used occasionally, some I've never heard of. None are necessary.

    I think that you could employ your study time in much better ways than by learning this list.

    (Note, I didn't study the whole list!)

    It is a strange list- I wouldn't recommend studying it. Many of those phrases are meant to be used for public speaking, so using them in other contexts may sound strange or artificial.
