    under consideration

    Dear teachers,

Would you tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentences?

Australia takes strong stance over whaling issue – it has been the pressing issue under discussion recently.

This is the question under consideration.

under consideration = being thought about or discussed

    Thank you for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V
