    key account strategist

What does "key account strategist" do in the following? What kind of strategist is he or she? And does "key" modify "account" or "strategist?"

After months of getting high interest in her company's customer service training program, but no sales, that's exactly what key account strategist Catherine McQuaid did.

    Thank you.

    Re: key account strategist

Key modifies accounts. She is a strategist for key accounts.

From the one sentence given, it is not clear what she did.
