    A Theme

Can I check if the following sentence is a theme:-

    I'm helpful.

I've counted out patient, actor, goal and benefactive and others.

Also does anyone know of a good website to practice this subject?

    Thanks

    Re: A Theme

What I mean by theme is - the theta role of the subjects that accompany the adjective 'helpful'. Those things surrounding the adjective can be either be theme: the person or thing moved by the action expressed by the predicate or actor, or location or goal, etc.

Oh, sorry, this must be Generative grammar, about which I now very little!
