Police to challenge MPs on guns.
I can't understand this sentence.
Could you explain it to me? What does MPs stand for?
Could be Military Police.
That was my thought, too - Military Police. Maybe the local police force doesn't want the members of the military police force to carry guns in their local municipalities.
Another example of why we need context!
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
