    couldn't/ wasn't/ shouldn't

    Dear teachers,

    Would you share with me your opinion concerning the following sentences?


    • He couldn’t leave.
    • He wasn’t allowed to leave.
    • He was not to leave.
    • He shouldn’t have left.
