    I read it in a fanfic review"adultff kind of sketches me out..." probably it's misspelling

    Sketchy can mean creepy or weird, and something that sketches you out makes you feel uncomfortable or maybe unsafe.

    I don't know where this meaning of the word originated, but I know it was popular slang at my sister's central Pennsylvania university in the early 90s, which is when I first heard it.
