    eye appeal

    Dear teachers,

Would you tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?

Prewar cars lacked the eye appeal of modern cars.

    eye appeal = exterior attractiveness

    Thanks for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V.
