Dear teachers,

Would you tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?

Where that man gets his old fashioned ideas from, I don’t know. He must have come out of the Ark.

must have come out of the Ark = like fallen of the heaven; like fallen of the Moon

Thanks for your efforts.

Regards,

V.

No.

It means very ancient - like it had come from Noah's ark.

No. He must be very old indeed. The reference is to Noah's Ark.
