    know & hear

Would you please tell me if these are correct and natural?

1-1. You should have told me the thing as soon as you knew of it.
1-2. You should have told me the thing as soon as you knew.

2-1. You should have told me the thing as soon as you heard of it.
2-2. You should have told me the thing as soon as you heard.

    Thank you very much.

    Re: know & hear

They're OK, but 'of it' is unnecessary.
