    loving = loved

    is loving = loved?

    For example:
    My loving wife & my loved wife

    Are they the same?
    Thankful to you.

    No

    My loving wife = my wife who loves (presumably me)
    My loved wife = my wife who is loved (by me)

    In the latter case, my beloved wife is far more commonly heard than my loved wife.
