My Webster gives two options of the pronunciation of "humble" with and without "h". How do you pronounce it?

Which dialects? :-D

All of them, as far as I know, though in most the h may be dropped in what is usually considered to be 'uneducated' speech.

You put "h" in brackets. So that would mean you don't pronounce it?
Phonetic transcriptions are given within square brackets [...].

The 'h' is a fairly recent arrival, I think.

A 'numble' is a bit like a 'napron'; that's where we get the expression 'eating humble pie' - numbles were a cheap sort of meat (offal?...), so eating numble pie was something poor people did.
