    go about + Gerund?

    Dear Friends,

I have a couple of questions about this sentence:

How do I go about doing this?

    1. What does it exactly mean?
    2. Do you think 'should' would be more natural/frequent to use than 'do'?
    3. Is the Gerund all right here?

    Thank you.

    1. How do I do this?
    2. "should" works too; it expresses obligation
    3. Yes, the gerund is fine
