    Are these sentences correct?

    1) Do not unsrew the cap too much to avoid heavy gush of pouring coffee into the from the flask/thermos water bottle into the cup.

    2) Do not unsrew the cap too much so that the coffee will not pour/flow into the cup in large amount/small amount.

    Michael, I would say, "Unscrew the cap and slowly pour the water into the cup so it doesn't overflow."
