    What for/For what

    Dear teachers,

I would like to clear up for myself one more thing.

Situation: a person has done something and other person asks him:
"What have you done this for?"
    or this is incorrect?

Is it possible to say: For what have you done this?

P.S. The best option would be to ask simply: why have you done this. But I want to find out about this words: what for/for what.

    Thank you.
