    Help With The Dialogue Please

    We got a routine.
    I pick the jobs.
    You pick the locks.
We pick up the prize together
    That's the routine.

What does routine mean here? Also the 2nd and 3rd line?

This is from the movie The Collector right?

    Routine: method, way of working.
Second line: The person speaking chooses which places to steal from.
Third line: To open a lock with lock-picks.
Fourth line: They will get the goods together.

They are criminals, working together to steal something. The speaker is the "brains" of the operation. "You" are the one who can pick the locks.

routine (adj) can mean that, but this is routine (noun, countable): the normal order and way in which we do things.

Yes, you are correct. I edited my post before I saw yours, though. Sorry!
