    out

    Dear all,

What is the meaning of "out" in the following context:

Two people are trying to find a way to keep cool with angry clients:

A: How can you remain calm with someone shouting at you? It's not natural.
B:You have to help me solve this problem coz shouting is out.

    Thanks a lot.

Here, it means: forbidden, not permitted
In other situations it means: dated, old-fashioned.
