Spectacular is surely the right word....

    Hi all,

Spectacular is surely the right word to describe the effect the Internet has had both directly and indirectly on our lives[/U]

Why this writer /author puts ''spectacular'' at the beginning of the sentence ?
Is this a correct sentence ?

    Many thanks
