Actually, in AmE "full of beans" means that someone is not to be believed or that they are talking nonsense. It is the same as saying "they are full of hot air" or "full of sh*t".

The main meaning is that someone is energetic ,but it still means nonsense and someone make serious errors.

In Australia "Full of Beans" refers to someone with a great deal of energy and vigor, as in "you are full of beans today." :roll: Hope that helps.
