    Please HELP! ! !

    Who knows the difference between IN ALLIANCE WITH and IN ASSOCIATION WITH .What are the differences between these two expressions? Which one should I use in formal letters? Thanks.

    "In alliance with..." would suggest to me, subscribing to the same beliefs, policies, rules etc. of a person or organization. "In association with..." would be a less formal relationship that merely identifies a person's affiliation/membership with a group or organization.
