I would like to ask you if the following sentence is correct and if it doesn't cantain heavy repititions concerning the use of "seasonal patterns":
It can be inferred from these figures that we have the same seasonal patterns for the second and third quarters and the same seasonal patterns for the first and last quarters.
Many thanks in advance.
But I find it ambiguous. Do you mean that the 2nd and 3rd are the same, and the 1st and 4th are the same? Or the 2nd has a patter that is like the 1st, while the 3rd has a pattern that is like the 4th?
I'm not sure which quarters have a unique pattern and which are similar to which.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
I mean the first and last quarters have the same seasonal patterns nevertheless the second and third quarters have similar seasonal patterns.
