In phonetics,

how can I write the sound /ɛ̃/ taking into count that I have installed the Unicode Phonetic Keyboard (UCL) - 1.10 in my computer.

(I can write sounds such as õ, ẽ, ã, ĩ, ỹ, ũ, but contrary to this, I cannot write the same form with the symbol ɛ in order to get ɛ̃)

Tell me wether I should post this thread in another section of the forum. Thank you.

In MS Word, if you write ɛ0303, then press Alt-X, you’ll get: ɛ̃
0303 is the Unicode number for a combining tilde.
(Note, there are various tildes, and the rest – you need to use the code for the “combining” tilde, etc. Unicode charts can be found on lots of places on the web.)
You’ll have to test other editors to see if this works. It doesn’t on this page, but you can copy from Word to this editor.

ɛ is 025b, so you can write 025b Alt+x 0303 Alt+x.
