    take, ride in/on

    We can say "take a taxi/train/bus." Can we say "take a car"?
    By the way, can we say ride on a bus/train or ride in a car/taxi?

    By the way, can we say ride on a bus/train or ride in a car/taxi? We can, but we don't, normally.
