    Smile indicative

The following sentences express the same idea. Which is acceptable, or is there any other natural expression?

    (1) An embrace is not necessarily to possess.
    (2) A hug is not indicative of possession.
    (3) Hugging me is not indicative of having me.

    2 sounds best.
But you might have to spell it out. "Just because I let you hug me, it doesn't mean you own me" - or whatever the real message is.
