    breathalyser

Do you have any ideas about this word: breathalyser

Is it a general English name for a device or a trademark?
If it is a trademark, can I use this word in my writing? Will I violate its copyrights law if I use it in my writing?

    Thanks.

As the article says, it's now a generic term. No one is going to sue you for using it.
