    Question What does it mean "Put me a shout"?

    I want to know what it exactly means

    "Put me a shout".

    I googled it and found the following but i could not make myself clear on it:

    "When Someone says something that you told them, expecting they won't say anything "

    It's on shout and it means to tell a secret, etc.

    I have never heard the expression put me on shout before, so I googled it. I found the same thing as Zuhair and, like him, I didn't really understand it. It did not appear to mean what you said, Tdol. When I googled simply on shout I got to put on shout, which was defined as talking behind someone's back.

    So, is there more than one meaning for this expression?
