    A rather metaphorical way to say that he talks a lot, perhaps about things he shouldn't be talking about.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    No, I was immediately able to understand the meaning. If that was the intended meaning.
