"My grand grand father owned land and a small brick factory. In 1939 the land and the factory had been seized by the Soviets. When World War two was over my grand father had been put in a prison camp in Siberia."
Is it possible to use the past perfect to emphasize the action in the past like I did in this contex.

Can we just clarify whether grand grand father is a typo for grandfather (one word) or perhaps you mean great grandfather.
Please proofread your own text before posting, Ostap.Great grandfather. But the one who was sent to a prison camp was my grandfather.
