    Need your help

    Hi,

I wonder when someone criticizes me for helping someone too much with his homework, I feel exremely unhappy because I just want to offer helps, can I say:

Where the hell was I wrong?

I want to find a sentence expressing strong dissatisfaction towards the one who critizes me because I don't do anything wrong, is the above sentence, the red one fine?

    Thanks a lot

    Re: Need your help

It would be better to say this:

    What did I do wrong?

This could be made more emphatic like this:

What exactly did I do wrong?

Make sure that you stress "exactly" in the sentence above.

    You could also say this:

Keep your nose out.....(of my business.)

You might also use a phrase from popular culture. Hold your hand up, palm outwards and say:

Tell it to the hand coz (because) the face ain't (is not) listening.

Hope this helps. Be careful with the last one - don't say it to a teacher

    Re: Need your help

Thanks you two a lot, can you guys recommend me some sentences that include the term like "the hell" and "the heck" and so on, I like the feeling when speaking them, if no such sentences, just leave the thread alone.

    Thanks
