    Colour

    Which one is correct?

    "I like the colour green."
    "I like green colour."

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Colour

Hi, and welcome to Using English.

The first one is correct as a stand-alone sentence.

You can say "I like the green color in that modern painting, but that's about the only thing I like."
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
