    Which one is correct

    Hi,

    I wonder which sentence is correct?

    Next time if I meet her I will ask her telephone number.
    Next time If I meet her I will ask for her telehphone number.

    You can't say "next time" and then follow it with an "if."

    "Next time" carries a connotation that there will be a next time.

    "If" is uncertain.

    You should say (if uncertain) "If I meet her again, I will ask her for her number."

    OR

    "Next time I see her, I will ask her for her number."
