    Turn to a statement ?

    Hi

Can you please explain how a sentence can be turned to a statement ?
sometimes an interrogative sentence is given and is asked to turn it to a statement?
Another question... Is it possible to change the voice of assertive sentence?
Sometimes order type sentence is given and is asked to change the voice.
What should be the correct way to solve them.
What should be actual voice change of the followings ?

"Give me a glass of water"
"Please give me a glass of water"
    "Don't run in the sun"
"You must not attend the party"
"Write your name on the black board"
    Please help

    Regards

    Newbie

    For example,

    • Did Sam wash the clothes?
      • Sam washed the clothes.
    • Is Sam at home?
      • Sam is at home.
    • Has Sam seen this film?
      • Sam has seen this film.

I would change it into indirect speech, like this:

"Give me a glass of water"
=> She told me to give her a glass of water.

"Please give me a glass of water"
=> She asked politely for a glass of water.

"Give me a glass of water!"
=> She demanded a glass of water.
=> She ordered me to give her a glass of water.
