Dear teachers,

Would you tell me whether the following usage of the Nominative Absolute Participial Construction is acceptable in your area?

Conciliation falling, fore remains; but force failing, no further hope of conciliation is left.

Weather permitting, we shall start tomorrow.

Thanks for your efforts.

Regards,

V

Weather permitting, we shall start tomorrow. (this sentence is fine)
