    Cry

    Hello all,

I was wondering that, what's a difference between,

    1-He gave a cry.
    2-He cried.

    Thanks

    Re: Cry

1 - He gave a cry. It is probable that cry = shout.
2 - He cried. It is possible that cried = wept.
