I know what the modal needn't have means in the sentence above,but cannot decide about how the sentence will go on.
Can we use was/were going to future with the time expression tomorrow ?
He needn't have called her because ...........................
a- I was going to see her myself tomorrow.
OR
b- I will be able to see her myself tomorrow.
