What's the difference between these two words?
yeah, but still I can't tell the difference. For example, in dictionary, there are both "relative comfort" and "comparative comfort". Are they the same?
Relatively speaking, there is comparatively little difference beteen the two words, or, to put it another way: comparatively speaking, there is relatively little difference between the two words.
"Relative", as a noun also means a member of your family. Your uncle, for example, is a relative of yours. "Comparative" cannot be used in this way.
