    Tenses

    Hello,
can I say: He has published numerous articles during his life?
or does during his life mean that he is dead now and hence the use of past simple is necessary.
Could I possibly substitute the adverbial with in his life and leave the sentence in the present perfect tense?
    Thanks

"He has published numerous articles during his life?" This is fine, it doesn't imply that he is dead.
