    2.25 AM ?

Can "2.25 AM" both be pronounced as "two twenty five AM" as well as "twenty five past two AM" ?

    Re: 2.25 AM ?

It is far MORE common to say two twenty-five am where I live. I would never say "twenty-five past two am."
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

In the United Kingdom we do not say 'twenty-five past two', either. It's "two twenty-five a.m", or "twenty-five past two in the morning".
