    Forensic thing--what's AP?

    Hi guys,

Here is a forensic science thing, and I am wondering if anyone happens to know what AP means in the following context:

"You have to take the backpack. You're going to need to run DNA tests on the straps and you can do an AP on the underwear inside."

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

AP stands for acid phosphatase . Forensic scientists often run an AP test on undergarments if they're looking for traces of semen.

Thanks. I was clutching at straws, trying to work out what ante-post betting could have to do with underwear.
