The international sporting occasions such as Olympics and football matches can have a great impact on the international relationships. Although some believe, these events could have an encouraging affect in order to rise and improve bilateral or multilateral nation wise ties, yet there are another group who think that not only their influences are not always constructive but also in some cases they can trigger cultural conflicts and unfriendliness among nations.

Sometimes these games or sport competitions can worsen the relation between the counterpart countries. For example the Asian cub football takes place every year in Asia and as long as I know when it comes to competition between Iran and any of the Arabic or Gulf countries, people in both countries who pray for victory use inappropriate words and expression to address each other during or after match which is sometimes in close relation to cultural matters. They just use this aggressive behavior in order to calm themselves and release their tension and anger if they have to face the defeat. Consequently these kinds of immoralities and overlook to cultural values in each nation and the way they show their emotions will increase the dislike and trigger hostility toward one another

In spite of this theory , there are another group in opposition. To support their ideology they refer to the same football match and look into that from a positive prospect. To exemplify that; we can point out to the football Asia cup in 2008. During that competition Iran claimed high to the semi final and had to play against Japan representing Far East . Surprisingly All Middle east countries were supporting Iran as their representative in battle against Far eastern . Therefore being Arab or Iranian did not mean anything in the stadium and all were praying for the same goal. There football was only a reason to make the people of the involved courtiers closer and closer as they were sharing one unique aim. This could provide the different nation the opportunity to communicate with each other and understand each others' culture better.

In short, what I believe is that the positive sides of this above subject outweigh the drawbacks and it could be considered as one of the main factors in terms of Globalization.
