    check on grammar

"I haven't been working as a dentist for eight years now and I'm not sure if I could." Would it be correct to say if somebody asked you whether you would like to work as a dentist again?

    Re: check on grammar

    Hello,

Whilst that's quite acceptable, more normal phraseology would be, "I haven't worked as a dentist for eight years and I'm not sure if I still could".

    Rgds

PS thanks to jlinger for spotting the original typo with the word 'not'. (Originally posted as 'nor')
