    a bit of word order

    Hi to all,

i have got here one grammatical issue I cant get past.

    I want to express following:
    --------------------------------------------------
I stayed at the camping all my three nights.
I spend all my three nights at the camping.
    -------------------------------------------------

Do the noun phrases in the bold make sense? Is their word order correct?

    thank you

    jirikoo

Re: a bit of word order

If you need to express the "my" in there, to show that it was how you spent your alloted three nights (you could have spent only two of "your" available nights at a camp site, and one in a hotel, for example, wherease your friend spent all "her" three nights on a boat), then you can say, as you did, "all my three nights."

Richard1 is correct, however, in his answer (especailly in his correction on the camping bit); it usually is not necessary to specify how I spent "my" nights - because, in fact, who else's nights could I spend? Leave it out.

As for camping, you spent them camping, or at the camp (or camp site). Not at the camping.
