    The correct answer for 1 is b) because the person left yesterday, which makes the present perfect wrong.

    By the way, please try to use a more helpful title for your questions; 'Please help me' doesn't tell us anything. 'Fix up = repair?' or 'the meaning of fix up' would have been better.
